The name of the chief DA in Cyprus was found in the black list of few assassins in the country. the killers were going to execute the order given by a prisoner, who is sentenced for 20 years in prison in Nicosia.

The police announced that the investigation of the case is in its advance stage and all measures to protect the DA are taken. The list was found during a sudden check in the prisoner's cell. When they saw the DA's name in the list, the police acted immediately. The list included a name of a person, who is already a victim of the assassins.

The brain behind the infernal plan is the 40 year old Sotiris Atinis, who was sentenced three years ago for importing 5 kilos of cocaine in the country. The man had an edge on the DA, who refused to file request to the president for reducing the sentence to one quarter.

The police had already found the tracks of the criminals, who killed a 67 year old man in Lemesos. The man was a former owner of a cabaret and according to the story, he gave out Atinis to the police. Together with Atinis the victim went to the airport, in order to receive the package, which was imported by a Brazilian woman. But no investigation was started against the older man because of a lack of evidence.

The murderer of the cabaret owner was paid €30 000. The police acted quick and right after the sudden check of Atinis' cell, they found mobile phones and SIM cards, which took them to the other members of the criminal network. Right now the chief DA and his family are being protected by the police until the involved criminals are found and delivered to the Cyprian authorities. The people, whose names were included in the black list are informed to increase their security.
