Bomb attack on a branch of Alpha Bank

Unknown criminals attacked an Alpha Bank branch in Gerakas neighborhood with bombs. They broke the windows and threw two Molotov bombs inside the bank. A bit later Elefterotypia newspaper received an anonymous call, which said that the responsibility of the attack is taken by the organization “Revolutionary anarchists”.

In another bank – National Bank of Greece, which is on Kanarya Square, an unknown individual called and warned that there is a handmade explosive device placed inside the bank. The police evacuated the building and nearby streets. The bank employer, who answered the call, said that the warning was recorded and not live.

Deputy Minister of Justice Apostolos Katsifaras was a subject of an attack caused by deliberate arson. Unknown criminals placed easily flammable substance in front of his office door in the center of the capital and set it on fire. There are insignificant damages of the entrance of the building.

Hooligans set garbage cans of fire in Exarhia and Zografou. A car is seriously damaged.
