The rating of the parties fell by 23.4% for PASOK, 15.6% for New Democracy, while 40.1% state they do not know who they would vote for. The pension reform is dividing the Greeks - 49.4% think the changes are necessary, but only 14.2% believe that they are compelling show the results of Kappa Research’s poll for Vima newspaper.

One week before the vote of the pension reform bill emotions of anger, frustration and fear apparently continue to dominate among the Greeks and the majority believes that the new rules are unfair, although respondents at the same time say they are necessary.

The uncertainty that has captured the Greek society is evident more than ever in the survey of intentions to vote for political parties. This time PASOK and New Democracy taken together do not exceed 39%, but daunted who do not know who they would vote for are 40%. Despite the crisis of confidence, traversed by the parliamentary parties, the majority of respondents believe that the conditions are not favourable for the formation of new parties. They are very reserved to the newly established Democratic Left of Fotis Kuvelis and to the party which it is said Dora Bakoyannis would form.

As for the pension reform, 49.4% of survey participants believe that reforms are necessary, but only 14.2% believe they are compelling, and 35.2% consider them necessary but unfair.  According to 29.6% the new measures should be withdrawn, and 19% think they are catastrophic. The majority of respondents say they are against the release of the dismissals - 82.9%, and when describing their emotions related to the reforms 35.5% are angry, 33.3% are disappointed and 21.1% are scared. According to 49% of  the respondents the present political leaders can not take the country out of the crisis, but 82.9% believe this should not result in premature elections, as this will lead to even more damages.

In the same survey respondents replied and the question of how they react when they hear about the terrorist attacks. 60.8% of them are still angry for the inability of the state to deal with this problem, and 29.15% said they are angry at the perpetrators and want some measures to be taken. But it is amazing that 4.9% said they understand the perpetrators of the attacks, and even 2.3% support them. Citizens continue to have confidence in the Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis (18% large and 32.9% sufficiently large), despite the tension that the bombing attack against him and the death of his assistant caused.

Meanwhile, the model changes in the calculation of pensions came out, which are one of the reasons for the next big demonstration on July 8.
