Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 Conchita Wurst and one of the most popular Greek singers Anna Vissi performed together in Mykonos. Their concert took place at a beach bar and tickets cost between 100 euro for standing visitors and 450 euro per person for the tables near the stage.

A week later, another seaside restaurant on the cosmopolitan island hosted a concert of Julio Iglesias and Antonis Remos. The Greek media described it as "the party of the year" the ticket prices for which were as high as 1,000 euro. Publications indicate that the organisers reported a turnover of 2,000,000 euro.
