A strong earthquake of 5 on the Richter scale rocked the central part of Greece at 3:54 am today. Athens Geodetic Institute reports that the epicentre of the quake was 32 kilometres north of the town of Igoumenitsa and the depth of the seismic focus was 10 kilometres below the earth's surface.
So far, there has been no information about damage and casualties.
