The explosion in front of the home of PASOK political representative on financial topics Mrs. Louka Katzeli was not strong and caused only material damages. The bomb exploded at 11:45PM in front of Mrs. Katzelis’ apartment, where is also the office of her husband – politician Gerasimos Arsenis.

A bit before the explosion an unknown individual called a private TV station and Eleftherotipia newspaper, in order to warn that an explosive device was installed in a building on 28 Chakalov street in Kolonaki. The words used were: “This is not a joke”.

There was enough time to warn the police, which cleared the region around the building. The bomb caused only material damages at the entrance of the apartment of PASOK parliament member candidate.

The bomb was placed in a backpack in front of Mrs. Katzeli’s apartment, which is on the fourth floor of the building. There was a stew pan in the backpack and batteries, clock and TNT in it. According to experts the mechanism is the same as the one placed in front of the house of Mr. Hinofotis. Main suspects are the members of the terrorist organizations “Ambush” and “Conspiracy of the fiery nuclei”.
