The extraordinary meeting of the Eurogroup in the presence of the finance ministers of euro zone member states will take place in Brussels at 03:00 pm local time on Friday.

It was announced minutes after the Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem confirmed the receipt Athens’ request for an extension of the bailout.

According to government sources, the document does not include a request for an extension of the so-called memorandum. At the same time, it "fully respects the vote of Greek voters in the latest parliamentary elections, and provides for restoring the social cost of the consequences of the crisis, measures to deal with the humanitarian crisis and immediate reforms aimed at tackling corruption and tax evasion."
