Finance Minister Yannis Varoufakis and his wife Danae Stratou had the opportunity for romantic walks and new photos taken during their visit to Lake Como in Italy, for the Ambrosetti international economic forum.
After a walk around the famous lake, the couple chatted with passers-by and journalists. Snapshots with some of them weren't turned down either.
"Five more pictures and then give us a break," said Varoufakis to photoreporters who trailed him.
"He asked me so kindly, I couldn’t refuse him," writes tongue-in-cheek Sonia Sirletti, a Bloomberg journalist. She had a selfie with the minister and then published it in Twitter.

A little later, in a room in Villa d'Este, Yannis Varoufakis had a picture with Chiara Bortolato, head of the forum’s press office.
This week, Paris Match published a long article portraying the Greek finance minister and his wife with pictures of them and the Acropolis in the background. The lifestyle photo session has since been bandied about. In a post on Twitter, which observers believe is directly targeting Varoufakis, SYRIZA’s MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis appealed for ‘less interviews and more work’. If
