Democratic Left leader Fotis Kouvelis is not willing to put the cart before the horse. Despite the impasse of the talks between politicians, he has refused to involve his party in the second pre-election race before the completion of all procedures stipulated in the Constitution referring to forming a government without parliamentary majority of a single political force. However, he made it clear that the political system in Greece was at a dead-end and the country would not get away with a second round of elections. According to Kouvelis, the failure to form a coalition government was due to the second most popular party SYRIZA, which turned the mandate to form a government into an election fiesta. If there is a second round of elections, we will be ready for action, Kouvelis concluded.
