Four dead and one injured is the result of a road traffic accident on Poseydonos Boulevard. A car with five people was moving along the coastal street between Piraeus and Glyfada neighbourhoods on the outskirts of Athens at 3:30 am, when it ran off the road before the crossing with Nireos street. The driver lost control and the vehicle crashed head-on into a power pole. According to the police report, the car exploded in flames some seconds later and the four passengers died on the spot. The driver was able to get out of the burning car and was hospitalized. When firemen arrived at the scene, they saw a man lying near the burning car and the bodies of his four companions were inside it.
The driver and four passengers were young men at an average age of 20 years. The victims burned completely and they have not yet been identified. There is no yet an official
