The French authorities have sent their Greek counterparts a request for information on three people who are believed to have some connection with the Paris attacks on 13 November
In particular, the French authorities are requesting information about a man who is considered an aide of Ahmad al-Mohammad, the bomber who passed through the island of Leros and carried out the Stade de France attack. It seems the man had arrived on Leros in early August and was awaiting al-Mohammad there. It is not yet clear whether he went to France along with the kamikaze or remained in Greece. The Greek authorities are trying to establish his movements.
In parallel, France has sent the Greek police data on two citizens of a northern European country, which, according to sources, have played a role in the attacks. France has asked the Greek authorities to establish whether they left any traces in Greece as Paris believes the two men might have passed through the country either on land or from the Middle East.
