Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has scored his third consecutive victory in Brisbane. Together with his partner Thanassi Kokkinakis, they have qualified for the semi-finals of the doubles competition.
They beat the third on the list Robert Lindstedt and Marcin Matkowski with 6:3, 6:7, 10:7.
The next rivals of the Bulgarian-Australian pair will be Kei Nishikori and Alexandr Dolgopolov.
The start of the first set was interesting and after two breaks, Dimitrov and Kokkinakis took the lead with 3:1, and then reached 6:3. The second set was very close but Lindstedt and Matkowski won it.
In the tiebreak, Dimitrov and his teammate took the lead with 5:1 but allowed an equal result of 6:6. Nevertheless, they had their will and won.
Grigor Dimitrov will participate in the individual competition where he will play against Slovakian Martin Klizan on Friday.
