The Griveas-Vatsika family has been searched for in various places - from Switzerland, through the UK and up to the Emirates. The family has been accused of unsecured loans amounting to 17 million euro from TT Hellenic Postbank.

According to information, the couple has been living in foggy Albion for the last two years, keeping control over their business. British police officers have been searching for Kyriakos Griveas and Anastasia Vatsika everywhere but there are no traces of them.

Companies and the friendship with Papandreou

Kyriakos Griveas has taken care to "liberate" his family from Athens, taking them to a quiet neighbourhood in central London.

He may have started from the "blue" youth organization of New Democracy, but was fascinated by the "green" development (green is the colour of PASOK) and turned environmental sensitivity into a lucrative business, despite the fact that sometimes there has been no real activity. Griveas knows how to make the most of his friendships and good acquaintances. His service in the youth organization of New Democracy did not prevent him from developing a close relationship with the Papandreou family and especially with Nikos and Andrikos.

Country Club in Stemnitsa

Kyriakos Griveas is a pharmacist. He began his professional career with a company for scientific publications. He rented the headquarters of his first company in Maroussi - a 100-square-metre office in an apartment building. At the same time, Anastasia Vatsika had a company for organizing congresses. After their wedding, the company developed, and they later established the scientific publishing house "Mondus Vivendi" and the PR company CIP. In parallel, they took over Diners Club from Citibank, created ID Events, the main business of which is advertising cigarettes, and assumed the management of the famous hotels Country Club in Helliniko, Karpenisi, Kaltezioti and Mikro Papingo.

Country Club in Karpenisi

Besides the Griveas family, the CEO of a large pharmaceutical company is co-owner of the Country Club and the publishing house.

Griveas and Vatsika developed their companies mainly in the field of congresses and communication programmes for various pharmaceutical companies. Initially, more than 70% of Griveas’s company turnover came from the companies Glaxo and Yanssen Cilag, since they organized congresses with resources of these companies.

The orientation of the companies changed and became "green" for one night in 2008. Griveas met brothers of George Papandreou Andrikos and Nikos in a group of friends at a time when he was the leader of the opposition. Although in his youth Griveas belonged to New Democracy, he believes that money has no colour.

The golden property

The offices of the company in Metamorfosi

The couple is a fan of real estate, and has at least 15 properties in Greece and abroad. Their "humble" 316-square-metre home in Pendeli, of area 1,170 square metres, has been abandoned. Their apartments in Loukareos and on Lavriou Avenue are also empty.

The tower of Itilo

The offices of the company on Metamorfosi Street are the most expensive acquisition of Griveas. The jewel in their crown is the tower of Itilo in the Mani region, on a plot of 719 square metres.

The family offices in London

Their home in London is located in the City and in parallel they have offices in Great West House in Bradford, near the Thames.
