Independent Greeks’ leader Panos Kamenos declared himself in favour of the establishment of a broad front of political forces opposing the Memorandum of economic aid to Greece.
During the meeting of the parliamentary group of the newly established party, he urged New Democracy and PASOK deputies to call their leaders Antonis Samaras and Evangelos Venizelos to withdraw their signatures from the guarantees presented in connection with the implementation of the second Memorandum and the bailout agreement to the country.
Panos Kamenos will meet SYRIZA’s leader Alexis Tsipras in parliament at 5 pm. Before the elections, they had not excluded the possibility of a joint cabinet, although the only common thing between them is the policy against the Memorandum.
