After a 10-year break, the famous American designer of Greek origin John Varvatos and the world leader in fashion footwear Converse are again working together. As expected, the result is an excellent pair of summer sneakers. A linen in the colour of burnt coal is combined with black leather and laces that are the colour accent adding to the linen shoes. And everything is in perfect harmony with the snow-white sole and the iconic All-Star sign on the heel. The elegant style of the sneakers changes their purpose from a pure sports accessory to all-time classic shoes with a strong vintage style.

John Varvatos was born in Boston, but his family comes from the Greek island of Kefalonia. In addition to Converse, he has worked for the fashion houses of Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, where he has founded and developed the brand Polo Jeans Company. In 2000, he founded his own design house for high fashion menswear. Today, his brand is on belts, handbags, sunglasses, watches, luxury cosmetics and perfumes, including a lady’s too.
John Varvatos explains his interest in fashion with his childhood passion for rock and roll. Music is the central theme of the charity campaign of the designer Save the Music Foundation, the aim of which is to introduce instrumental music in the curriculum of American schools.
