After a “marathon” of testimony, the investigators of the case of Golden Dawn decided to send into custody only deputy Yiannis Lagos. The other three, namely party spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris, who has been defined as the head of operations of the criminal group, Nikos Michos and Ilias Panagiotaros have been released. All three are banned from leaving Greece and Ilias Kasidiaris is out on bail, amounting to 50,000 euro.
According to sources, the four deputies had rejected the charges against them and identified themselves as victims of political persecution. The leader of Golden Dawn, Nikos Michaloliakos, will testify later today.
