Like every year, this summer again the Greek islands are attracting local and international celebrities with their beautiful and clean beaches, archaeological sites and healthy Mediterranean cuisine.
This year, the favourite for the title "the greatest star that visited Greece" is super rock dinosaur Keith Richards, who is spending his vacation on the island of Crete. For his summer vacation, the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist has preferred the luxury Elounda resort. According to the local edition cteralive.gr Keith Richards eats mostly fish and seafood, preferring sole and stew with shrimp out of the local specialties.

Former Greek King Constantine and his large family are sailing around the Ionian Islands on board his yacht. The local online edition zantepress24.gr reports that the royal and his wife attended divine service at Strofadia monastery and then left for the neighbouring Kefalonia Island to have a cup of coffee in Argostoli. There they talked with the residents of the village whom the earthquake in February had affected the most and returned to the yacht. In summer Constantine, who is a former Olympic champion in sailing, does not miss showing his beautiful yacht around the Greek seas.

Leader of the largest opposition SYRIZA party Alexis Tsipras is on vacation with his family on the casual Cycladic island of Naxos, but according to zougla.gr the politician will return to Athens today for urgent commitments. His family will remain in Naxos and he will join them during the weekends. The local edition Naxos News reports that the Tsipras family is staying in a villa in Moutsouna holiday village, which is part of Apiranto municipality - the birthplace of SYRIZA MEP Manolis Glezos. The family spent their vacation there last year too, invited by family friends.
