The director of the Greek national security said that the 17 year old Bulgarian, who was arrested for throwing stones and “Molotov” cocktails at the police, is still in the arrest. Two other Greeks were arrested with him as well. Another five people were arrested the same night – one Albanian, one Syrian, and three Greeks, who burnt the Greek flag on the central boulevard “Akademia.”
Bulgarian consul Vassil Mitrovski said that the boy was born in 1991 and he lives permanently in Greece with his parents. He goes to school in the Athenian suburb Paleo Faliro. The boy and the two other arrested Greeks are charged with trying to harm a policeman. The parents of the boy are in touch with him all the time.
The crime scene, where Alexandros Grigiripoulast died was reinvestigated again today for two hours. A partial enactment of the events was also done. The further investigation of the crime scene became necessary after the results of the ballistic expertise came out, which proved the presence of deformation and traces of pyritic dioxide on the bullet that pierced the heart of the 16 year old Alexandros.
