Dubious load for Iran waiting at the Greek port

A container destined for Iran and loaded with 80 tons of material code named CK22, which is used in producing nuclear weapons is waiting on the Elephsina customs since December. The Greek customs and port authorities are in high alert since last November, when a secret warning arrived in the country from the UN about the arrival of a dubious and dangerous load, in accordance of the organization’s classification.


On December 18th, 2008 the Elephsina customs detain four containers, which arrive from the Slovenian port Koper on the “Susan” ship with a sender the Acroni Ltd. The company is the biggest producer of steel for industrial purposes in Slovenia. In the beginning of November, the same containers were detained for a short period at the Italian port Gioia Tauro in Calabria. In accordance to a report of the Italian anti-mafia parliament commission, this port is controlled by the clans of the Calabria mafia named “ndrangetta.”


In accordance with the information of the Greek authorities, the containers are filled with a material, which is used for producing nuclear weapons and during the conservation of liquid fuel for nuclear weapons. This shipment is destined to the Bandar Abas port in Iran. The authorities have informed the responsible security services and are awaiting for the results from the chemical analysis of the taken samples from the containers.
