The Greek police have made a list with 82 possible targets of terrorist attacks. In it, there are 82 names of famous businessmen, bankers, public figures, journalists, publishers, and lawyers. The list was made in “strict confidentiality,” after the attacks against police stations, banks, and journalist offices. According to the Greek police, the terrorists are concentrating mainly on the media representatives and on legal practitioners – judges and prosecutors. After those, come the banks and the large businesses.
The list, which is published by “Vima” newspaper, includes 54 physical persons and 28 physical spaces – mainly editor’s offices of newspapers and TV stations. 17 journalists and publishers are named, among which are news anchors from Alter TV Nikos Hadjinikolaou, Mega TV Olga Tremi, NET TV Maria Houkli, and president of the Greek Journalists Union panos Sobolos. Possible targets of terrorist attacks are also 4 bank presidents: Takis Arapogou – National Bank of Greece, Ioanis Kostopoulos – Alpha Bank, Mihail Salas – Pireos Bank, Giorgios Provopoulos – Bank of Greece. The list is completed with the Athens mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis, the director of the Prime Minister’s office Ioanis Adrianos, and a parliament member from the right Party LAOS Andonis Georgiadis.
The Greek police insure all of the above with police cars, which will accompany them and also a special traffic lights schedule, in order for them not to be stuck in traffic.
Meanwhile, the four higher-ranked police officers are available due to the leaked information in the Greek media. The police director Vasilis Tziatouras has ordered an internal investigation of the channel through which the top secret information has leaked.
