The procession of the nationalistic movement “Chrisi Avgi” took place today at 07:00pm under special security measures.

Ever since the early afternoon tens of nationalists filled “Omonia” square, where they were chanting xenophobe slogans and raised posters: “Enough, give us our Greece back!,” “Foreigners=criminality,” “Greeks cannot become a minority in their own country!”

The nationalists are blaming the emigrants for some of the biggest problems in Greece right now – the high criminality, drug addiction and prostitution in the capital and in the big cities like Patra and Thessaloniki. Also, they are blaming the current and former administrations for the benevolent attitude towards the foreigners.

The nationalists from “Chrisi Avgi” insist that the state should stop the immigrants coming to Greece from Turkey.
