A parcel bomb exploded at the house of a judge in the central district of Holargos in Athens at 8:45 pm last night. The exploding device had been placed in a folder for documents and had 8 batteries of 1.5 volts. Skai TV reports that the device resembles the one which was sent to the court building on Evelpidon Street about a month and a half ago.
According to the police, the judge who was the recipient of the parcel bomb had been involved in the case against the terrorist organization "Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei". A neighbour collecting the postal affairs of the judge in recent weeks, as he was absent, had brought the parcel to his house. When the judge took the package it seemed suspicious to him and he threw it on the floor where it exploded.

The non-profit organization "Doctors without Borders" was stated as the sender of the parcel. The post office from which the parcel had been sent has not been established yet. The anti-terrorism service is investigating the case.

To be continued.
