The private firearms museum of businessman Anasthasios Pallis in the Athens suburb of Koropi became the target of a robbery shortly before 10:00 pm on Wednesday.
According to sources, four unknown attackers had beaten and tied up the guard after which they had opened two or three containers with inoperative firearms, museum exhibits, stealing their contents.
Other sources claim that it is unclear whether the stolen objects were firearms or something else.
The guard was able to free himself from the rope in the early morning and called the police, who are already investigating the case.
Pallis Museum was thoroughly investigated last October when its owner Anasthasios Pallis was under investigation in connection with the draining of FBBank.
In the course of the investigation of the criminal activities of Golden Dawn, the police found four containers with weapons. They carried them to the police laboratories and made a complete list of the exhibits.
The owner of the museum, Anasthasios Pallis, testified in December 2013. He was released after the imposition of restrictive measures on him, but a few days later, he was imprisoned before trial in connection with the loan obtained from FBBank.
It is worth noting that a previous search of Pallis’ house in Panorama Voulas suburb had found single-barrelled guns, photos of Hitler and Nazi symbols.
