Winners in the two most watched TV reality shows "Next Top Model" and "X-Factor" in Greece, were respectively the 20-year old swarthy beauty Serayna and the 23-year-old Stavros Mihalakakos from Cyprus.

Each of the programs brought over 3 million people to their couches in front of the TV screens. The new super model Serayna is half Swiss, but lives on the island of Crete, from where is her father. She had serious competition in the face of the 18-year-old Monica, who on the final of the show took the second place because of her stubbornness. The girls who have reached the final four, traveled to London where they went through photo castings for popular magazines and reviews of designers, where Monica stunned British designers.

Four girls reached the final of the Greek "Next Top Model" - Serayna, Monica, Mary and Ioana. The 23-year Russian woman Maria doubted her beauty until the last moment and because of this she failed to persuade the committee that she is worthy of the title. Unlike the favorite Ioana, who was almost certainly she will win the title, but finally she was not even ranked among the top two.

In order to reach the top, Serayna went through swimsuit shoots in the snow, she hung on a rope over some trunks, dove in a pool for underwater photography, learned how to ride, hugged hanging meat on hooks, but also met with some designers in Milan and London. Her prize is a contract with the famous modeling agency in London MP MANAGEMENT, pictures for the catalog of BSB fashion house, pictures on the first page of Madame Figaro magazine and a Dior watch decorated with diamonds worth €13 000, which was given to her by the host of the show the Greek “Tyra Banks” Vicky Kaiya.

The reality show X-Factor, with Sakis Rouvas as a host, also announced its winner - 23-year-old Cypriot Stavros Mihalakakos. The audience voted for one week for their favorites in the glamorous show, which lasted for three hours and Sakis finally declare the winner. The viewers gave the secong place to the Georgian Nini and third to the funk band “48 hours”. The road for the talented Stavros, who won first place, is now open for a big career in the music industry. His manager is the famous Nikos Mouratidis, who is in the committee of almost every musical reality show in Greece.

Stavros Mihalakakos was born in Cyprus in a family with a strong female presence – he has two younger sisters. He had never been professionally involved in music, but music is inextricably linked to his life - from very young he took musical theory and guitar lessons and later on took a first prize for best song in Cyprus. He has studied communications and journalism in France for one year but ultimately decided to pursue music.

Stavros Mihalakakos says that his participation in X-Factor is a challenge he wants to win and this is exactly what happened! On the finals he performed his favorite song Use somebody by Kings of Leon, by taking the risk to sing a piece unknown to most people in the audience. Musicians who have mostly influenced him in shaping his musical preferences are Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Radiohead.

Finally some statistics - the finale of "Νext Τop Μodel" was seen by 34.8 percent of the audience aged between 15-44 years old, most of whom are women. Over 1 400 000 people have watched the entire broadcast, and 3 800 000 have seen at least one minute of it. The finals of X-Factor were seen by 35.7 percent of viewers and more than 4 600 000 people have watched it at least for a bit.
