Unknown persons, who were in a car, opened fire on a DIAS patrol in the Athens suburb of Paleo Faliro. The policemen wanted to check the documents of the car and of its driver when the passengers responded with a bullet. It is not yet clear if there are any injuries.

According to the initial information, the local police station had received a report on a robbery in a flat and the police patrol set off to check out the situation. On their way, the policemen saw a suspicious blue Volkswagen Passat car and wanted to check it when they encountered the armed persons. Currently, the police are chasing the shooters in the area of Piraeus, searching shops and gyms.
