Photos and symbols of DAESH have been found on the mobile phone of a Syrian citizen who has been detained on the island of Kalymnos. The Syrian has been detained on charges of trafficking in refugees but the authorities suspect him of connections with jihadists. A Greek intelligence team accompanied by an Arabic translator has set off to the remote island in south-eastern Greece to interrogate the Syrian. The detainee is in the coast guard offices in Kalymnos.
