SYRIZA emerges as the first political force, although with only half a percentage point lead over the ruling New Democracy. Today's opposition party receives the approval of 22% of respondents whereas the support for the party of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is 21.5%, as shown by the results of the opinion poll conducted by the Pulse RC agency and published in Pondiki newspaper.
Golden Dawn, which enjoys the support of 10.5% of Greeks, firmly holds the third position (in the polls conducted by all polling agencies). The fourth political force today is a coalition partner in the government of PASOK the support for which is 6.5%. The Communist Party of Greece is on the edge with 5% whereas Independent Greeks with 4.5% and the democratic left DIMAR party with 3% remain outside the parliament.
The poll results show a striking number of non-voting respondents, namely 10.5%. Antonis Samaras is still holding the lead as the most suitable for prime minister but the support for Alexis Tsipras is increasing.
