It is a matter of status for each Thessaloniki TV star, celebrity, politician or businessman to have a house in the neighbourhood of Panorama. The neighbourhood is located in the eastern city outskirts, amidst a pine forest, overlooking Thessaloniki and the Termaikos bay.

The TV host Vicky Hadzivasiliou, who lives with her husband Yannis Akkas and their two sons Christ and Orfeas, has a luxury house in Panorama. This is the host’s nest where she escapes when she is not in Athens to shoot the show. Her house, which is not so high in the mountains, has a spectacular view, pool and large garden, where Vicky likes to make parties or to meet her sons’ friends.

The singer Hrispa that several months before her wedding to the businessman Panagiotis Nicolau rushed in search of a suitable house for the couple in Thessaloniki Beverly Hills also chose Panorama to reside permanently. Finally, she set her mind on a three-storey maisonnette with a splendid view from the balcony to the city and a garden, where the couple will enjoy sunny days with a cup of morning coffee. This is the same house that Hrispa left in a wedding dress on August 2 last summer to fall into the arms of her beloved.

The newlyweds, the actress Elena Asimakopoulu and the footballer Bruno Cirillo, also live in the neighbourhood. They have chosen a rather big house to live in Thessaloniki where they will soon enjoy their first successor. Helena is in the seventh month of pregnancy and is anxiously awaiting the little baby to appear, preparing a special room, reads CIAO magazine.

Antonis Kanakis – the host of the over-watched Radio Boot show – lives in the outskirts of the neighbourhood too. He finally managed to finish building the house of his dreams in direct proximity to the studio, where he every day shoots the show. Antonis Kanakis loves to meet his favourite friends in his home as they stay in the city for several days. Antonis Kanakis made a fitness hall in the basement where he spends many hours exercising to keep the good shape of his body and his beautiful muscular arms. Although he has never lived with a woman so far he is a real challenge for all the free representatives of the fair sex, and his permanent companions are his two favourite dogs.

A luxurious apartment in Panorama has the president of the PAOK football club Thodoris Zagorakis, who lives with his wife and their two children. Zagorakis prefers to keep his personal life from the media and avoids shooting pictures of his wife and children. That is why only people of very close family and friend circles visit their home. For the convenience of his family Zagorakis made a pool and playground in the yard for his little daughter to play and his wife and their son, who is still only a few months old, to have a rest.

Yiannis Raptopoulos - owner of the Express Service and owing € 40 million to the security fund IKA – has his own palace, which is the most luxurious house in Thessaloniki. We are talking about a castle located in the center of a huge area of trees and greenery. The main house has dozens of rooms and apartments for each family member and servants. Mr. Raptopoulos often welcomes his friends in the guest rooms and one of them is the TV host Lakis Lazopoulos. The journalist Makis Triandafilopoulos made his wedding in the mansion of the businessman.

For many years in a warm and beautiful house in the center of the neighbourhood lives the basketball player of Serbian origin Bane Prelevic whose daughter Anna won the title Star Hellas 2010. The two daughters of the former basketball player, who was the 2008 coach of CSKA - Sofia, study in London but when they are on vacation they always visit their father's house, although Anna already has quite professional obligations in Athens and has rented an apartment in Kifisia. Another one of the villas in Panorama is that of the Tsandalis - known producers of ouzo - where the successor Haido lives. The neighbourhood can not be missing politicians - there is the home of the Minister of National Defence Evangelos Venizelos and of the Mayor of Thessaloniki Vassilis Papageorgopoulos.
