Thriller with tax administration employee hostage

An employee of the tax administration in the small town Vonitsa, Etoloakarnania District, is currently being taken hostage by an armed man.

He broke into the building shortly after 12:45, his gun leveled at the people. After forcing all customers and employees to come out he took hostage of one of the employees there.

According to first reports, the armed man protested for his financial differences with the tax authority. According to unofficial information, he has lodged tube with gasoline in the building.

The tax administration is surrounded by the police. A special police mediator arrived to negotiate with the hostage-taker. The police said the armed man is 47 years old and is from a nearby village.
