20 euro per day will enable the numerous fans of charming Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov to watch his matches in Athens during the three-day tournament between the teams of Bulgaria and Greece for remaining in the Europe/Africa Zone Group II for the Davis Cup. The sale of tickets started today, Wednesday, 2 April, at Helioupolis courts and the office of the Hellenic Tennis Federation in Pangrati neighbourhood.
The first two individual games of three winning sets will be played at 1:00 pm on Friday. The two teams will march on the courts at 12.30 pm the same day. The doubles matches will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday and the tournament will end at 10:00 am on Sunday, when the last two individual games will be played.

Helioupolis Tennis Club is frantically preparing for its moment of glory. In order for it to be able to provide seats for all fans of Grigor and of tennis in general, which is very popular in Greece, it is erecting additional stands around the courts.
In addition to Dimitrov, who is number 15 in the world ranking, the Bulgarian team also involves Dimitar Kutrovski under number 403, Tihomir Grozdanov, number 411 and Dinko Halachev, number 148. The Greek team involves Theodoros Angelinos, Alexandros Jakupovic, Markos Kalovelonis and Charalampos Kapogiannis who are its best players at present.
The Bulgarian team arrived in Athens on Monday and has already begun training on Helioupolis clay courts. "We are pleased with the court and the complex as a whole. Yesterday’s training was useful and today we will have two more training sessions," said team captain Todor Enev. Grigor Dimitrov will arrive in Athens today and will attend the draw for the matches that will take place tomorrow at 11:00 am at Helioupolis Tennis Club.

The coming of Grigor Dimitrov to Athens is glamorous not only for Greece’s sports life but also for its social life, as Greek media report that the handsome Bulgarian tennis player will be accompanied by his girlfriend Maria Sharapova. Local journalists have long defined them as "the couple of the year." According to a publication in the Greek media, Sharapova has been invited by businessman and pastry chef Stelios Parliaros to take part in a promotional event in Athens Metro Mall in Agios Dimitrios neighbourhood on Thursday afternoon. Sharapova is expected to participate in several television shows, including a talent show. All presenters and producers are hoping that Grigor Dimitrov will appear with her, if this will not interfere with his duties related to the Davis Cup. Although there is no official confirmation of the information about their social appearances, Masha may appear in Athens as her next match will be on 21 April in Germany.

A representative of Athens Metro Mall told GRReporter that its management has no information about such an event. Nevertheless, even if Sharapova does not come to Athens, Greek tennis fans will have the opportunity of watching Grigor Dimitrov, who is one of the most promising young talents in this prestigious sport.
