Some of the most popular TV shows in Greece are the talk shows. Their hosts are men and they are broadcast in the late hours of the day. And if women host the morning couscous shows and zap the shots of the yesterday’s ones in search of something juicy, at night the men entertain the viewers with their ironic and bold comments, stand up comedy, funny videos and men’s humour. The conclusion is that the Greek television has turned to productions that might be cheaper than the series, but entertain the viewers who are eager to laugh and relax from the busy everyday life.

The satirical show Al Chandiri on Alfa TV of the comedian Lakis Lazopoulos hits the rating of them all, reaching even 50% of the audience. Lakis appears on the stage and the audience deifies him even after his first cue. Not everyone likes him, but most people do, and the important thing is that he makes good stand up comedy, which is the only one in Greece. His "stamp" is that he manages to make the viewers think that he is their voice against those who "make fun" of him. Moreover, the show of Lakis Lazopoulos is like a good performance worth the money, but you are among the privileged ones who have seen him with a free invitation.

You’re Kidding (Plaka kanis) is a show in which two charming hosts Savas Pumbouras and Dimitris Vlachos play tricks, situations and find victims. What will you watch? Well played tricks, cleverly chosen and various types of players that smear themselves with oil in a café, for example. They have found a funny way to stick the viewers to the TV by showing them what a person is capable to do for 4,000 euros. Their audience is usually of young people between 14 and 44 years old. Тhe last episode showed how a man and a woman went to a bar and the man started shaving, how two friends went for a beer and the one began to exercise, how a couple - a husband and a wife - went to dinner and the girl was wearing a swimsuit. Watch them each Wednesday on Antena at 21:00.

Undoubtedly, Radio Arvila is one of the most successful shows this year, which is proved not only by the ratings, but by the people’s love to the hosts. The videos for the PC in the ancient times – Google, Facepaper, Ttube – could hardly be forgotten. But before becoming a part of the Radio Arvila, the host Antonis Kanakis gained experience by participating in similar shows with equally remarkable success. Now, the four hosts - Antonis Kanakis, Yiannis Srvetas, Christ Kyusis and Stathis Panayotopoulos – present this alternative satirical show with great success. According to the Down Town magazine, what we watch is a radio transmission that has the luxury to broadcast an image too, and it does not last more than it should. Even if you do not watch them in their best shape, you will surely hear comments that will be remembered long. People aged mostly between 14 and 44 watch it and although the show offers humour for men, it has a large fan club of women most likely because of the tight T-shirts Kanakis wears. You can watch them from Monday to Wednesday on Antenna at 23:00.

The satiric show of Themos Anastasiadis Ola 11 has been on the TV screen for more than ten years – every Monday evening after Radio Arvila on Antenna. You can enjoy the most entertaining moments of Greek television, interviews, dancers and playmates. So, the other TV hosts often say when they blunder "Oh, Themos will show this!" He finds and makes jokes of things that the others miss or do not know how to find them. He shows unmounted shots with politicians, footage which shows air-conditioner in historical series, etc. We will see on the table and next to Themos glamorous celebrities and the sweetest faces that will go any lengths this year too. And be aware that anything you have missed, you will catch up with Ola 11, you will see and hear everything the way it is - no censorship, and with the relevant comments that make you burst with laughter.

The Night with Petros Kostopoulos is completely different. You will see that the celebrities invited, in fact, can also be funny and their interviews are not made in the form of confessions about how perfect they are, nor to present their work. Kostopoulos won the audience starting with the repeated false talk that “with us you will see the celebrities as never before” and he has made it happen. We watched how Despina Vandi leaped up with sex toys, how Catherine Zarifi pretended to be a top model, Roul Kormila talked about her illness. All people watch it but he managed to attract the most wanted audience between 14 and 44 years. The guest of Kostopoulos yesterday evening was Elena Paparizou, who shared her most secret thoughts and once again proved why she is the number one! She sang her new song Baby It's Over, but did not miss to dance the traditional dance tsamiko. And do not forget that the music in the show is live and is performed by the incredible rock band 48 hours. Watch the special Nights every Thursday on Alpha at midnight!
