UNICEF is fighting against poverty and malnourishment of children in developing countries and it is organizing a TV marathon to raise funds. The TV marathon started at 04:00PM yesterday and continued until later that night and it was aired by the national TV station ERT. The initiative was joined by many private TV stations from all around Greece and Cyprus.

The funds raised from the TV marathon will be included as part of a UNIFEC program for fight against poverty and they will be used for the creation of therapeutic centres, for vitamins and food, for the distribution of special therapeutic foods and for fight against poverty and the reasons causing it.
