"Their blood is the pettiest response; the only justice is people’s power," threatened the end of the 18-page text of an unknown organization called "Military People's Revolutionary Forces." With this text it assumed responsibility for the deadly attack of 17 days ago against the offices of Golden Dawn in Neo Iraklio, which ended with two dead and one injured member of the nationalist party.

There are a number of similarities in the text with earlier proclamations of the armed groups "Revolutionary Struggle", which collapsed in 2010, and the organization "Group of People’s Fighters," which assumed responsibility for the armed attack on the offices of New Democracy on Syngrou Avenue in January 2013 with a delay of six months. Moreover, the star-symbol of the newly emerged organization leads to armed organizations that operated in the past decades.

Police officers recognized, however, that the text about the attack against Golden Dawn has "chaotic differences" in comparison to short insulting texts of the organization "Sect of Revolutionaries", which was suspected to have been hiding behind the double murder in Neo Iraklio. Representatives of the anti-terrorism service were expecting the emergence of a new armed organization and did not exclude the possibility of a joint activity of armed groups, as suggested by the name or the group which has detached itself from another armed organization.

So far the police have recorded these 12 key moments in the text:

1. The claims of the organization that "killing two members of Golden Dawn is the beginning of the people's counterattack, so that the Golden Dawn neo-Nazi scum could be sent where it deserves – to the dump of history", as well as other moments in the text containing threats against representatives of the extreme right.

2. The phrase that "the 9 mm bullets are a reply to Golden Dawn MP Michos that only bullets will stop them" is also indicative. Another indicative fact is that members of the new organization warned that in case of any racist attack by members of Golden Dawn, there would be a backlash even if they "hide in police stations."

3. Similar threatening letters to police officers whom it is believed assist members of the far-right organization.

4. Threats against the political system with references: "in order for the brothel in parliament to burn, violence is necessary which will crush paid Praetorians or volunteer defenders of parliament."

5. The fact that the text does not make any mention of preparation or a plan of armed members of the new organization to kill members of Golden Dawn.

6. The full list of attacks committed by Golden Dawn members against immigrants, and other acts of the extreme right-wing organization. For the police, this is an example of "an archive of publications in print and electronic media, which members of the new organization have followed and monitored carefully." The text speaks of "relations of Golden Dawn MP Elias Panayotaros with former wanted Apostolos Vavilis" about which there was some information available on the internet.

7. The police have found a number of similarities to an older list of victims of police assaults, which is contained in a statement of the organization "Revolutionary Struggle".

8. The organization defines the authorities’ investigation of the Marfin affair as a "conspiracy."

9. The last part of the text contains historical references mainly to the period of the civil war, as well as economic analyses that rely on the old "classic" authors of armed organizations. Significantly, there are characterizations such as "mercenaries" which are similar to those contained in texts of the group "17 November".

10. The analysis of the theme about the impact of the crisis, which starts from the hungry children in schools and leads to suicides, cut pensions and the smoke from wood stoves.

11. In its proclamation, the organization recalls the case of Skouries and the company "EL DORADO GOLD" – the same thing has happened before in texts of the "Revolutionary Struggle", and wanted 42-year-old Nikos Maziotis.

12. There are many instances in the text of the new organization regarding Golden Dawn connections with New Democracy and the entire political system, which are reminiscent of a recent electronic text uploaded shortly after the deadly attack by Nikos Maziotis, a fact which attracted the interest of the police.
