Wedding dresses by Sofia Kokosalaki

25 September 2013 / 09:09:03

The famous Greek designer may not appear regularly on the podium for fashion clothing, as she did before, but she is still fascinating her customers by presenting one state-of-the-art collection a year. This is the conclusion of Vogue magazine which has published the designer’s latest collection of wedding dresses.
"There has been a huge response. Some chains such as Net-A-Porter have increased their orders whereas others are ordering the same dresses, but in colour. It is easy for us to make them since the models can very easily be transformed from bridal into prêt-a-porter dresses which one can wear repeatedly," says Sofia Kokosalaki before the fashion magazine.
Vogue notes that despite its new logo "Aesthetics inspired by Greece," the bridal collection of 2014 offers various destinations like delicate models in several parts, short dresses with belts at the waist, sheer long gowns of chiffon, feathers.
Sofia Kokosalaki has become famous beyond the world of fashion too since the costumes for the opening and closing of the 28th Summer Olympic Games in Athens in August 2004 bore her signature.
