Every woman celebrates March 8 - wife, daughter, sister, mother, friend, lover, because it is also the day to celebrate the power of the spirit and beauty of women. Every day can be the day of a woman, but once a year we all honor it. The story of the holiday begins more than 100 years ago, where 20 000 female workers in a textile factory in New York go out on the streets and force their employers to reduce their working hours and increase their salaries. Then, when still the trade unions were banned, this movement of women was described later by political and historical analysts as the most successful and the most progressive one in the 20 century. Now in the 21^st century challenges for women still exist and there is much to be achieved. 

"Women have chosen to play many roles in their lives. In order to be able to cope and be better at what is required of them in the family, and in conjunction with their career or in their social life, they are obliged to borrow traits that are characteristic, and we think that more fit men, "says an article in Ta Nea newspaper, which marks the International Women's Day and mentions that Greek ladies were able to recover from many sex taboos. 

Actor Panos Vlahos claims he is convinced that now women behave like men while flirting. This result stems from research done by the Andrology Institute and the Institute for Women's Sexual Health in Greece among 1800 women aged between 35 and 45 years. According to the study of women's sexual behavior almost overlaps with that of men: they believe that their love life is of utmost importance and say they do not have rigid concepts. Also, according to them their sexual life is an important parameter for quality of life and health. 

According to the survey, women are not led so much by logic as it appears at first glance, but they are attracted by body appearance as much as men are. Most of the surveyed women stated their preference for well-shaped calves, strong backs, legs and shoulders. 

"The more educated a woman is, the less reserved she is and therefore she has managed to usurp male sexual behavior. And that is fair, because this leads to a genuine and universal equality, which was a piece of the puzzle that we missed," explains for Ta Nea newspaper coordinator of the study Kostas Konstantinidis, president of the Society for the Study of Human Sexuality. 

"Today there are women who are independent, autonomous and chieftains in the game. The most important reason for this is economic independence, which a woman seeks to achieve and hence arises equality. She has always produced as much as a man has, but now all she wants is the corresponding payment for her labor," says psychologist Elealeh Elevteriou.
