Deadly explosions at a Cypriot naval base, 12 people died

The Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of Cyprus confirmed that the explosions are the result of a fire that started in two of the 98 poorly stored containers of gunpowder, located at the base. The gunpowder belonged to the Syrian army and was seized from a ship a year and a half ago because of the embargo against the Arab country.
