The interest on short-term government securities fell by 26 points but the spread on ten-year government bonds jumped again followed by the price of the insurances on them.

According to the data submitted by representatives of the shipping industry, the sector registered loss of about 260 million euros in 2010 and could not bear the additional tax burden planned by the government of George Papandreou.
