30 year old Bulgarian was caught by the Greek police while trying to transfer big amount of drugs through the Promahontas border line. He introduced himself as a horse trader, who regularly crossed the Bulgarian-Greek border and managed to transfer big amounts of cannabis, hashish, and heroin. He used to sell drugs through a vet in Seres and in other cities in Greek Macedonia.
He admitted in front of the police that in order to cross the border easier he used to choose days with bad weather, or the hours when the border police changes shifts. The customs officers, who have seen everything, were left stunned by the creativity of this man. The young Bulgarian hid the drugs everywhere – in the horse hay, in their excrements, and even in the poor animals’ anuses.
At the moment of the arrest a police dog “sniffed” a kilo and 340 grams of hashish hidden in the tire of the vehicle, with which the Bulgarian transferred a mule for sale in Greece.
Meanwhile, Athenian police also arrested one Romanian and one Greek for trading drugs and for putting together and keeping big quantities of weapons. The police believe that they are part of a criminal group, which delivers drugs to the Athenian prison Koridalos and explosives to anarchists, who work around the territory of the Greek capitol.
