Americans and Greeks are searching for a famous Bulgarian drug dealer, who is hiding in Thessaloniki, announced the Greek Ministry of Internal Affairs. The authorities found 70 kilograms of cocaine in a container at the Thessaloniki port, which came by sea from Colombia. Officially, the ship was transferring coffee, fruits, juices, and wooden materials. The cocaine was hidden in special hiding places inside the container.
The container was shipped out from the Kartagen port in Colombia and arrived in Thessaloniki on January 9th. The receiver is a Bulgarian citizen, who has a legal business in Thessaloniki. Now, he is being searched for by the police.
The Greek and American services against drug and gun trafficking are conducting the operation and also the Greek secret services. The official announcement of the Greek Ministry of Internal Affairs characterizes the operation as “a big hit against drug trafficking and disposal in Greece.”
