Car accident involving Dutch students

Last night a big car accident happened on the road Tripoli-Pirgos. A car and a tourist bus, carrying students from Holland, smashed into each other. Two people from the car died in the accident. The 27 Dutch students and three teachers are unhurt. One girl was taken to a hospital but later on released, because everything was fine.


From the accident scene, the students were taken to the bus station in Arkadia in a public bus and later on driven with another bus to their hotel in Navplio, from where they will continue their planned excursion in Greece.


The reasons for the accident are being investigated by the traffic police in Tripoli.
