Smokers will be closed in little glass rooms and this way they will completely be isolated from other visitors of restaurants, clubs, coffee shops, etc. The rooms will take up to 40% of the total area of the place.

Those measures have been planned for places with area of over 70 square meters. In bars, smokers will be forbidden to sit at the bar and in bigger places with live music, smokers will have to forget sitting at tables in front of the stage, because glass rooms cannot be built there.

Based on the previously planned measures all entertainment places will have to offer smoker rooms, which should close so that the smoke will not bother other visitors.

The measures will also be good for the bar and restaurant staff. Waiters and barmen are among the most affected by the cigarette smoke, because they have to work in smoked up places for eight hours daily. Based on a research, every forth nonsmoker waiter coughs and gasps constantly. The survey also shows that every nine out of ten questioned agree with the measures, which will take effect soon.

What will be enforced from July 1st:

·          Smoking in closed rooms, health facilities, public transportation, sport facilities, waiting rooms, and all night entertainment places will be forbidden.

·          Little glass rooms will be built, which will have a separate door and an AC. The rooms cannot take up more than 40% of the total area of the place.
