Using public transportation today will be free due to the “European mobility week”. All bus, metro, tram and trolley passengers will be able to travel without punching their tickets. Traveling without a ticket in the metro is valid only until Koropi stop towards the airport. Also free will be the train until Magoula stop—in other words, it is free within the city.

The Public Transportation Organization is calling for all passengers to leave their cars parked in front of their houses and take advantage of the public transportation in Athens.
