Nikita Khrushchev cried when he learned of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The information came to light after the declassification of diplomatic archives in the U.S.. It is confirmed by the telegrams of the Greek ambassador in Moscow at the time. Greece as an inspiration and creative impulse

The end point of Europe called Greece gives birth to artists and inspires them. This is what the Tate Modern gallery’s curator Jessica Morgan has decided to highlight, and today, the fruit of her work is presented in the Museum of Cycladic Art. The exhibition The Last Grand Tour presents the paintings of 17 artists of international acclaim, who lived and worked in Greece for the past 70 years.


Papandreou disappointed Greece with talks again

After all of Greece has been waiting with bated breath the speech of the Prime Minister George Papandreou on the new medium term plan for economic recovery, all ended up in disappointment. The Prime Minister overwhelmed the public with populist words instead of specific proposals.
