The temporary withdrawal of the International Monetary Fund from the financial programme for Greece opens a hole of nearly 5 billion euro in the financial requirements of the country.
The Greek judicial authorities are investigating the period 2000 - 2010 when around 176 NGOs had received funding to the amount of 70 million euro from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government institutions.
They arrested 12 people, including two civil servants, one petrol station owner and president of the company for petroleum products Eteka George Spanos.
