Another 4 cases of the West Nile virus proven

Eight new cases of brain inflammation were recorded in northern Greece, the tests of the infected people were sent for analysis to the microbiological laboratory of the Medical Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in order to determine whether the inflammation was caused by the West Nile virus.


Bulgarian drug boss extradited in Greece

The request of the Greek authorities for the extradition of the number one drug boss in the Pirin region Ognyan Atanasov was approved after six months of waiting. The Balkan Escobar was wanted for possession and distribution of drugs and forming a criminal group in Greece.
