The unemployed people in the country exceeded 800,000, the GDP decreased by about 5% and the prospects for the near future are even darker. This inevitably affected the purchasing power of the Greeks, who have become much more attentive to the price of the preferred goods.

After years of uncertainty whether they will be able to save their investments after the failure of the insurance company Aspis, the people insured at it announced that they will file lawsuits against the state for criminal negligence.

"The taxi driver profession is not opened. They said on the television in the morning that the draft has been signed, but if any one can open a clothing store, then not everyone can get a license for a taxi. I, personally, would not give my car to a company, because I paid so high a price for the license and will not let them pay me 800 euros a day. It will not happen," says a 37-year-old taxi driver, who is not well familiar with the recently adopted solution yet, which should become a presidential decree to take effect.

Once again, correct tax payers will take the burden of the crisis in Greece. The Minister of Finance Georgios Papakonstantinou acknowledged that ordinary citizens will pay when he is unable to deal with tax evaders.

One of the captured was a member of the guard of the former Prime Minister Costas Simitis. At the time of his capture he was the head of the police station in the Athens suburb of Elliniko.
