The new leadership of the opposition New Democracy party is now in place after its Eighth Congress ended as an indisputable leader remains Antonis Samaras. At the Congress were made administrative changes, while the big surprise was left on July 6, when Mr. Samaras will present his program for economic recovery. Party members voted also for political committee, but the most interesting is that were elected two deputy chairmen of the party just in case who are Dimitris Avramopoulos and Stavros Dimas.
