During his televised address to the Greek nation Alexis Tsipras said he resigns as he has completed the first cycle following the negotiations with creditors and the allocation of the first tranche of the new bailout to Greece.

So far, the most probable scenario is for the Prime Minister to announce early elections, perhaps even today, the most likely dates for them being 13 and 20 September.
